Here is a look at what I am working on at Game World Guessr. This is a general guideline of what I will be working on, but is very likely to change over time in reaction to user feedback!

FEATURE: Experience, User Levels, and Achievements Started: April 2026
This will allow users to track their progress on the site, and show-off their map guessing skills!

I need to do what I can to keep the site self-sufficent and I know the ads can be really annoying so I want to give users an alternative way to support the site, with a subscription supporter tier.
FEATURE: Ability to request more Challenges/Map Sets Est: TBA
I want to create a system where users can vote for games that they would like to see more content for. This might mean creating a map set for, or simply creating more challenges. For now, check out the Discord server!
FEATURE: Panormaic World Map Guessing Est: TBA
This will involve me creating entire panoramic 'Street View' models for game worlds. A big long term project.

FEATURE: Postcard and other Sharing features Completed: April 2026
I want to re-implement the postcard feature from the original GwG, and the ability to easily share challenge sets, or your results, directly to socials.
FEATURE: Zoom Maps Completed: March 2026
I will implement the ability to create proper zoom maps, as easily as possible. This will allow for maps to be created for bigger games (for example GTA, RDR2, Skyrim, etc). This will be an alternative way to create Map Sets from uploading individual map images. This absolutely will be done before GTA VI rolls out.

I have been working on the site for probably closing in on 12 months, not even including the original Game World Guessr site I created. If you enjoyed the original, thank you!

This will allow you to see how well the average person does on each challenge, so you have an idea on how hard it will be.
MAINTENANCE: Updated Site launch, Damage Control Completed: March 2026
For the first couple of weeks I plan on mostly running damage control, and fixing any issues that appear when I start getting users on the site.
